Hi, I’m Roberto, a visual narrative and communications designer. In 2008, I completed a Bachelor of Arts in Information Design at the University of Pretoria and later an MPhil in Visual Arts (Illustration) at Stellenbosch University in 2012.
My skills include illustration, digital colouring and visual communication design, assisting clients in taking projects forward from brief to conception, a number of which include websites, visual and corporate branding initiatives, stationary, packaging, book design and cover illustrations. My passion lies in digital publishing and print with particular mention given to visual narrative illustration and design. I am currently in the process of developing my user interface design and UX design skills for the purpose of digitally publishing my own IPs. My previous work experience is varied and includes everything from digital colouring projects for master cartoonist Zapiro and other commercial comic book studios, pedagogical content and safety comic books for semi-literate audiences and editorial projects.
