Re Viral Campaign - A viral campaign for Converse shoes. Promoting the brand, collecting market information and propogating the concept of urban revivival in the Pretoria city centre. The campaign is centred around three underground Converse parties at different venues in Paul Kruger Street (one of the city centre’s more historical streets). Venues include the old Capitol Theatre, the old synagogue and the train station. Clues and installations are designed to be placed strategically throughout the centre of town, as well as throughout universities and colleges in Pretoria, in an attempt to target a more trendy and alternative youth market. Clues direct people to the Converse website where a link allows one to register and become part of the Re campaign. People can enter clues into the website for more information on parties, but can only do so once registered. Once correct clues have been submitted, electronic flyers with information on parties and venues are revealed individually. Group members include Marno Kirstein, Natanie Van Dyk and JP Neethling.
